25 Weeks with AGGA

These photos were taken on 05/05/2018, 25 weeks into my treatment with the Anterior Growth Guidance Appliance (AGGA). What you will find is that almost no growth has occurred in the past 3 weeks.

22 Weeks with AGGA

These photos were taken on 04/13/2018, 22 weeks into my treatment with the Anterior Growth Guidance Appliance (AGGA).

This week I have also included photos which show the tilting of my incisors (front teeth) that is occurring as a result of AGGA. The tilting was severe enough to cause Dr. Leonard Kundel to slow the rate of expansion by only partially adjusting AGGA's spring tension at my last visit on 03/28/2018.

I Finally Figured Out Proper Tongue Posture

For the first 3 years that I attempted to develop and experience proper tongue posture, I was unable to. I had a vague sense that the tongue needed to be pressed into the roof of the mouth so that it could function as a natural palate expander. And I successfully developed a habit of keeping the tip of my tongue pressed into my maxilla. But it was only in the last few weeks, after achieving 3.5-4.5mm of forward growth in my maxilla, that I was able to rest the middle and back of my tongue onto my palate and experience true proper tongue posture.
